Versailles no Bara, or more commonly called by its English title, The Rose of Versailles, is an anime series, An original episode entitled "Moetsukita Bara no Shouzou" (transl. "Portrait of a Burning Rose") was made and aired once, and was never broadcasted again nor included in any home media release of the series, In multiple regions of Japan, the series was canceled after its 23rd episode

R.U.R. (lost BBC television adaptations of science-fiction play; 1938; 1948)

R.U.R. (Rossumovi Univerzální Roboti) is a science-fiction drama play written by Karel Čapek. A Czech Republic work established in 1920, the play is historic for inventing the English word "robot". In 1938, the BBC adapted the play to television, which is considered by some sources as the earliest science-fiction television program. The BBC also broadcast another adaptation of the play in 1948.

but it became generally known on April 12, 2007, when Game Tanteidan, a used retro game store in Nihonbashi, Osaka, introduced a prototype ROM of the game on its blog, As of 2023, the game has not surfaced online., Ōkōchi Gengorō Ikka (大河内源五郎一家, lit. "Ōkōchi Gengorō Family" or "Gengoichi Shimoda") is an unreleased Nintendo 64 simulation game. During the N64 era, there was no information about this game

The British rock band The Beatles played a rare engagement at the Stowe School in Buckinghamshire on 4th April 1963. The show was held at in the prestigious boy school's auditorium, Roxburgh Hall in front of the student audience., On 4th April 2023, 60 years after the performance, BBC News reported that a tape of the concert had been unearthed.

The Chamber (partially lost Fox game show; 2002)

The Chamber was an American game show, designed to be a more extreme, "visceral" game show in the vein of programs like Fear Factor, and featured contestants being asked questions while strapped into a torture chamber which subjected them to extremely high or extremely low temperatures alongside other environmental conditions such as simulated earthquakes and high winds.

The Hobbit (lost high-frame rate versions of high fantasy adventure film trilogy based on novel; 2012-2014)

The Hobbit is a trilogy of high fantasy adventure films based on the J. R. R. Tolkien novel of the same name., In an effort to improve the film viewing experience, Jackson filmed the entire trilogy in 48 frames per second (FPS), double the industry standard of 24 FPS. Despite his efforts the high-frame-rate (HFR) versions never received a home media release and remain lost.

Howdy, howdy, howdy, how’s everybody doing tonight? Lucy here, I hope everybody had a good time over the holidays and is enjoying the new year so far – not only a new year, but a new decade! To celebrate, let’s get things started early and wrap up the last finds of the 2010s:

• The Wizbit episode “The Christmas That Nearly Never Was, Part 2” has been uploaded by YouTube user Steve Franklin. Thank you!

• Two more episodes of The New Adventures of Beany and Cecil have been found: “Radio with a Bite”, and “Cecil Meets Clambo” (embedded above), both uploaded by Adam Fair Land. This leaves only one episode lost, so thank you very much for sharing these!

• The entirety of the 1989 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade has been uploaded by LMW user Zane362. Thanks for preserving a piece of history!

• The whole series of Baby Bob (minus the pilot and unaired episodes) has been uploaded by our own SpooferJahk, after recovering them from private site MySpleen, which has long since shut its doors to new users. Thanks for bringing these to a larger audience!

• LMW user TropesAreDangerous has uploaded 6 more Tiger 2-XL Robot games to Archive.org: Jurassic Facts; Monsters, Myths, and Dinosaurs; Say Hello to Famous Folks; Treasure Chest of Facts and Fun; Trivia Time; and World of Science. Thank you for all of your hard work!

• At long last we finally have a full episode of the early Nickelodeon series Hocus Focus, uploaded by Jon QUBE. Jon has also uploaded over 50 minutes of “Plus and Minus” footage from Pinwheel (parts one and two), so thank you very much for sharing these!

• The Genesis prototype of the cancelled Akira video game has been found by Hidden Palace, along with many other prototypes as part of their Holiday 2019 event. Be sure to check them out, and many thanks for their tireless efforts in game preservation!

• On a more somber note, the footage of Tiny Tim’s heart attack has been found. I won’t link it here, but if you want to see it, you know where to look.

And now before finishing up, let’s look at the first few finds of the decade so far:

• All three aired episodes of Megan Wants a Millionaire have been uploaded to Google Drive by LMW commenter Delbert lanier. Thank you for taking the time to share these!

• All 11 aired episodes of Sunday Pants have been uploaded to Vimeo by the series co-creator, Stuart Hill. Thank you!

• SpooferJahk has also found the full series of Star-ving, recovered from a once-dead torrent that suddenly came online. Thank you once again!

• And lastly, something from October that flew under the radar until now - all 26 episodes of Little Lulu and Her Little Friends have been uploaded to YouTube in one video, albeit dubbed in Arabic. Regardless, thanks to the uploader!
