The 1996 DeVilbiss SuperFinish 200 was the ninth race of the 1996 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Occurring on June 30th at Nazareth Speedway, the race would be won by eventual 1996 runners-up Jack Sprague. This race was also notable for being the only Craftsman Truck Series start for 1989 NASCAR Winston Cup champion Rusty Wallace, and for being the only 1996 Craftsman Truck Series to not be televised live because of rain delays., While CBS did not televise the race live, over a minute of footage of the 1996 DeVilbiss SuperFinish 200 was shown in the opening recap of the 1996 Sears Auto Center 200 the following week. According to Racing-Reference, TNN may have broadcast the race a few days after it occurred, during the middle of the night.
Help! (partially found deleted scenes from The Beatles film; 1965)
Help! is a 1965 British musical comedy-adventure film directed by Richard Lester, starring the Beatles and featuring Leo McKern, Eleanor Bron, Victor Spinetti, John Bluthal, Roy Kinnear and Patrick Cargill. The plot sees the group struggle to record their new album while trying to protect Starr from a sinister cult and a pair of mad scientists, all of whom are obsessed with obtaining one of his rings., As with most films, several scenes from Help! ended up on the cutting room floor. However, due to the industry norms at the time of production, no out takes or full length deleted scenes were kept once the film was completed.
BS Fire Emblem: Archanea Saga (partially lost original Satellaview version of "Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem" bonus content; 1997)
BS Fire Emblem: Archanea Saga (Japanese: BS ファイアーエムブレム アカネイア戦記編 BS Faiā Emuburemu Akaneia Senkihen), also referred to as BS Fire Emblem by fans, is a four-episode Soundlink game consisting of original maps that serve as a prequel to Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light, released on the Satellaview add-on for the Super Famicom., ROM dumps consisting of the actual game and maps were preserved and can still be played albeit through a complicated setup, but because the game was recorded live, the episodes in their original format remain completely lost and would most likely never resurface in ROM form.

The Ghost Breaker (1914) is a Mexican lost horror comedy film starring H. B. Warner. It was released on December 7th, 1913 by Paramount Pictures., The film was continued to be shown in theatres well after release, the latest appearing to be over two years after release, a showing on January 29th, 1917 in Danville, Pennsylvania., The film, which ran just over sixty minutes, has been lost since the 1910's. The film was very successful after release, filling theatres and launching H. B. Warner's career., The only existing media from the film are a few stills.
Metroid Dread (lost early Nintendo DS build of Switch action-adventure game; mid-2000s)
Metroid Dread is an action-adventure game for the Nintendo Switch, released on October 8th, 2021. It's a part of the long-running Metroid franchise, and is a direct follow-up to 2002's Metroid Fusion. It's famous for its development hell, having been originally developed for the Nintendo DS, and it's been teased and rumored about numerous times over the years., This early version of the game has never been publicly shown off, but some things can be pieced together from the bits of info and insider testimony that exist.
Dead Poets Society (partially lost deleted scenes from Peter Weir teen drama film; 1989)
Dead Poets Society is a 1989 teen drama film directed by Peter Weir. It stars Robin Williams as Mr. John Keating, an English teacher at a prestigious boys' school in 1959. Keating makes it his goal to inspire his students to live life to the fullest, or, "carpe diem." Among his class are a group of seven boys, who reignite a poetry reading club titled the Dead Poets Society., The movie has a handful of deleted scenes. Most of these scenes can be seen in the extended cut of the film. Despite most deleted scenes being viewable, some have never been released, and some may not even exist.
Frontal Attack (lost soundtrack song from "Shuusou Gyoku" danmaku game; 1999)
"Frontal Attack" is the title given to a track used in the 1999 Seihou Shuusou Gyoku prototype, or Shuusou Gyoku '99, produced by Touhou Project creator ZUN, who at the time produced the game's soundtrack. It was used in the prototype as the boss theme for both Stage 1 and Stage 2. Not much is known about this track, as the theme itself nor any comments about it were released by ZUN or any of the Seihou Project members., Shuusou Gyoku (秋霜玉 lit. Autumn Frost Orb) is a vertical-scrolling danmaku shoot 'em up game developed by Shunsatsu sare do? (瞬殺サレ道？) that was released for Windows in December 2000.
Columbia Lions 1-2 Princeton Tigers (partially found footage of college baseball game; 1939)
A small snippet of footage of the game remains accounted for, featuring a number 10 batsman successfully hitting the ball and running towards the first base., Aside from this, the rest of the game is permanently missing, as it was broadcast live with no means of being able to directly record live broadcasts existing back in the 1930s., On May 17th, 1939, Columbia Lions and Princeton Tigers played a doubleheader at Baker Field. The second game made television history, for not only being the first televised baseball game, but for also becoming the first televised sporting event in the United States.
The Big City (lost Lon Chaney crime film; 1928)
The Big City is an American silent crime film, released on March 24th, 1928. It was one of several films directed by Tod Browning which also starred actor Lon Chaney., A short trailer of the film has survived, though it does not contain any actual scenes of the film., It is unknown when the last showing of the film was before it was lost in the vault fire, though an unverified source claims it was shown in Australia in the 1950s., The movie, which consisted of eight reels of film, was lost in the infamous MGM Vault Fire of 1965.
The Dinky-Di's (partially found Australian animated TV series; 1991-1992)
The Dinky-Di's was an American computer-animated television series that also aired dubbed in Poland, Italy, Japan, and Korea. It was created by Mel Bradford, owned by Roo Films, Pty. and animated by Chinese company Pacific Rim Productions, Inc., The Dinky-Di's premiered in 1991 in Australia, on August 21st, 1995 in Italy, in 1997 in Korea, and on January 10th, 1998 in Poland. It has since faded into obscurity, and no official release has been made of the series since it stopped airing., Out of the 26 episodes only 3 have resurfaced, The show follows a group of andromorphic animals, the titular Dinky-Dis, who go around the world saving rare and endangered animals and plants, while educating the audience on the importance of environmental preservation.
