Status: Existence Unconfirmed

Ideal was an R&B group that had their peak success in 1999 when their debut self titled album went gold, and their lead single 'Get Gone' reached #2 on the R&B charts and #13 on the Billboard Hot 100.[1]

New Album

After a brief 5 year break, the band announced in 2004, that they had signed onto Universal Records and had plans on releasing an brand new album, titled From Now On. The band's lead single was titled Makin' Time and would feature well known R&B artist Cee-Lo Green. Other than that, very little was known about the album at the time of the announcement. However, for reasons unknown, Universal Records shelved the album and single and the band subsequently broke up. There is no evidence as to whether or not the album, or even the Cee-Lo Green featured single, were even put into production. The only evidence that it even does exist was an article written about the group on a February 21, 2004 edition of Billboards magazine, which can no longer be found online.
