Status: Existence Unconfirmed

Iron Maiden are an English heavy metal band formed in Leyton, East London, on Christmas Day of 1975 by bassist and primary songwriter Steve Harris. The first short-lived lineup consisted of vocalist Paul Mario Day, guitarists Terry Rance and Dave Sullivan, drummer Ron Matthews, and bassist Steve Harris. After many rehearsals, Iron Maiden starting performing at the St. Nicks Hall in Poplar on May 1st of 1976, before doing regular gigs at the "Cart & Horses" pub in Maryland, Stratford.

On November 4th, 2018, a Youtube user under the username "WillinthonProYT2111" uploaded a 30-second video featuring 11 seconds of a recording taken at Cart & Horses in 1976, long before some the Dennis Wilcock tapes resurfaced by The Legacy Project. The origins of this recording is unknown, and any information about it is nowhere to be seen online other than a concluded Ebay auction from Colombia, provided by the uploader. According to WillinthonProYT2111, the video portion of the video was cut by Youtube's copyright system, and only the audio is played at 16 seconds in.

The uploader included the link to the now defunct Ebay listing titled "Iron Maiden Revenge 'Rare Treasures' - unpublished songs" which ended on January 20th, 2019 with zero bids. The auction was later relisted until February 20th, 2019 with no bids. Despite the seller being based in Venezuela the item location was listed to be from Bogota, Columbia. Any contact with the seller regarding the auction turned back with no response.

With the scarce information about the recording, any legitimacy about the given audio remains unknown. If said recording were to be real, then it will be known as the earliest recorded audio Iron Maiden, and to be the only recording of its kind to feature the original band lineup since the formation.
