Unlike Junior, it uses animated characters voiced by Australian actors and actresses. Plus, most of the segments on J-Squad were Australian originals rather than foreign programming.
At least three episodes (''Poochini'', ''What About Mimi?'', and ''Weird-Ohs'') are known to exist and have been released on a now-out of print DVD titled "The Best of J-Squad: Volume 1."<ref>[http://www.michaeldvd.com.au/Reviews/Reviews.asp?ReviewID=2004 MichaelDVD Review.] Retrieved 6 Aug '16.</ref><ref>[http://www.ezydvd.com.au/DVD/best-of-j-squad-vol-1/dp/221293#secinfo EZYDVD Details of DVD.] Retrieved 6 Aug '16.</ref> However, not much is known about the show beyond these three episodes.

There is a home video release for the TV series named "The Best of J-Squad Volume 1". However, it was already out-of-print and ultra hard to find.
