Jimmy Two-Shoes was an animated children's series that ran from 2009-2011 created by Edward Kay and Sean Scott. The series was about a 14 year-old boy who lived in Miseryville - an area that was filled with doom and misery.

A "pilot" for the series was created in 2006. The premise of the pilot was drastically different from the final version and revealed that the show was originally intended for an older audience; the series would originally take place in Hell. Heinous was originally a demon named Lucifier, and Heloise was supposed to be the spirit of a serial killer who was sent to Hell.

According to Edward Kaye, co-creator of Jimmy Two Shoes, and Phil Postma, original designer for the concept, the pilot was actually a six-minute non-for-air demo made and paid for by one of the investors and the early installments for the characters were removed because they were not liked. Although it is speculated that Charlie Schlatter was the voice of Jimmy, and Jessica DiCicco the voice of Heloise, Kaye confirmed Cody Doran indeed voice Jimmy in the demo.

Plot

The pilot was about the titular character, Jimmy, getting hit by a bus. After the accident Jimmy then dies of his injuries and is sent to Hell by complete accident. To Jimmy, Hell seems like a wonderfully fun place, though that's not quite what it is.

The existence of this demo is well known, and indeed exist, but according to creator Edward Kay, was not distributed to them since the producers fear it would be leaked.
