Lostprophets were a Welsh rock band active from 1997 to 2013, known for their 2006 single "Rooftops (A Liberation Broadcast)".

On December 3, 2012, lead singer Ian Watkins tweeted that he was on his way to shoot a music video for the band's upcoming single "Somedays". Watkins and guitarist Lee Gaze were the only band members present at the video shooting. The other members would appear in archive footage in the final product.

About two weeks after the video's filming, Watkins was arrested and charged with various sex crimes relating to alleged sexual assaults on numerous children, some as young as two years old. Lostprophets broke up in October 2013. A month later, Watkins pleaded guilty to 13 charges, including attempted rape and sexual assault of a child under 13. He is currently serving 29 years in prison at HM Prison Long Lartin in Worcestershire, England.

Other former members of Lostprophets have formed a new band called No Devotion and no longer wish to be associated with Lostprophets. Due to this, any footage of the music video is unlikely to be released.
