Kaibutsu-kun is a manga series created by the author duo Fujiko F. Fujio, who also created Doraemon, Ninja Hattori-kun and other popular anime and manga series. An second anime adoption premiered on September 2, 1980 and ran until September 28, 1982, with a total of 94 episodes.

An English dub used to air on Disney XD Asia under the official English name Monster Kid. More information about the dub isn't known and no material of the dub has been found.
