Screen Songs were animated cartoons produced by the Fleischer company (known for making the Betty Boop series). They were a continuation of Fleischer's own Sound Car-Tunes. The theater run was very limited (36 theaters), but it was a long run, lasting from 1929 to 1938.

Mr. Gallegher and Mr. Shean is a 1931 installment in this series featuring Al Shean of the comedy duo Gallegher and Shean.[1]

Synopsis

During this short, Al Shean is the only star of the show because Gallegher had unfortunately died in 1929. He sung their famous theme song," Mr. Gallegher and Mr. Shean", with a bouncing ball allowing the audience to sing along too.
