In 2009, Namco Bandai Games (now known as Bandai Namco Entertainment) release the fifteenth installment in their Namco Museum series, titled Namco Museum Essentials (known in Japan as Namco Museum.comm, with the ".comm" believed to stand for "communication"[1] for the PS Store on the PlayStation 3. The collection featured six Namco games; Pac-Man, Dig Dug, Galaga, Xevious, Xevious Resurrection (a new game in the Xevious series), and Dragon Spirit, and also featured support for the now defunct PlayStation Home service.

Status

The game was delisted from the PS Store on January 4, 2017, and was later removed from the PlayStation Now digital rental service in August of 2018. The game was likely removed from the service to encourage the purchase of Bandai Namco's other arcade releases on consoles, such as the Namco Museum collection on the Nintendo Switch and the Arcade Game Series on PS4, Xbox One and Steam.[2] Currently, no dump of the game has ever been released online.
