Face was the original host of the Nick Jr. block on Nickelodeon. He first appeared in between airings of shows on September 5, 1994 (although the Nick Jr. block had aired without a host since January 1988). Face had a redesign in 2003 in which he gained a deep voice, full pupils, and eyebrows. These promos were panned by viewers, and Face was replaced by Piper the Possum later in 2004. Promos of this version of Face have been lost for quite some time until one promo got uploaded. It was called Face The Windowshade and several others have surfaced like a bouncy promo and a yoyo promo.

On January 4th 1988, the Nick Jr. programming block was created, but Face wasn't introduced until September 5th 1994 after Nickelodeon rebranded the block. Face, voiced by Chris Phillips at the time, would appear in between shows to say what was up next as well as tell a joke or sing a song and essentially acted as the block's main mascot. In 2003, Face was given '''a redesign''' which gave him eyebrows, bigger eyes, a different mouth, and a new slightly deeper voice (who is unknown). The redesign was panned by many viewers, leading Nickelodeon to get rid of him entirely in 2004 and replace him with Piper the Possum. These promos are mostly lost except for some that have been uploaded to Youtube, which are listed below.
