Unlike the original ''Nikita'' game, which was a spiritual successor to well-known 2D platformer ''Captain Claw'' (1997), ''Speedy Pirates'' barely received any marketing from its publisher and attention from video game critics and gamers alike. Nikita: Speedy Pirates (also known as Nikita: Wild Cars) is a kart-racing game developed by Techland and released in 2008 for the PC. This is a spin-off of Nikita The Mystery of the Hidden Treasure 3D adventure-game.

Unlike the original Nikita game, which was a spiritual successor to well-known 2D platformer Captain Claw (1997), Speedy Pirates barely received any marketing from its publisher and attention from video game critics and gamers alike. Because of that, the only information about the game which has any actual description is on the official website of the developer in the list of "other games".[1]

On June 1, 2017, the game was uploaded by a YouTube user named OldClassicGamer.[2]
