Nita Negrita is a Philippine television series broadcast by GMA Network. Premiered on February 14, 2011 and ended on June 10, 2011. The show was aired from Monday-Friday. It stars Barbie Forteza and focuses on the life of Nita, a Filipino/Black American girl and due to her black complexion, was easily humiliated and teased at school. It premiered on GMA's block Dramarama sa Hapon, replacing Little Star. It was replaced by Sinner or Saint.

The show is controversial and was criticized due to its use of blackface.[1] The show, throughout the years, became forgotten, with GMA not releasing it yet on their channel.

Availability

During the runtime of the show, several channels uploaded the episodes. However, these channels are striked time-to-time. The lost episodes of the show are mainly from March 2011 as 4 out of 26 episodes are found as of to this day. Several episodes during its runtime, from February 2011 to June 2011 are also lost, but the pilot and the final episode are resurfaced, uploaded from 2011.
