One Piece is a Japanese manga series created by Eiichiro Oda that originally launched in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1997. An ongoing anime adaptation by Toei Animation began broadcast on Fuji TV in 1999.

The anime series has notably been adapted into English twice: once between 2004-2006 by the New York City-based 4Kids Entertainment, and an ongoing production by Fort Worth, Texas' Funimation Entertainment that began in 2007.

An earlier adaptation produced for the South East Asian market exists. Commissioned by the Singaporean anime distributor Odex, the first 104 episodes of One Piece were dubbed into English locally by Voiceovers Unlimited.[1][2] This version contained minimal censorship in comparison to the 4Kids dub.[3] The dub starred Chuck Powers, Brian Zimmerman, Alison Lestor, Jamie Meldrum, Paul Pistore and Emlyn Morinelli.[4] It was produced in two blocks of 52 episodes, with the first group directed by Powers and the second by Zimmerman.[1] The dub was produced between 2003 and 2004.[5]

This dub would be aired in Singapore on Kids Central and be released in a series of 8 VCD box sets by Odex, each containing thirteen episodes..[6][1] Few clips of it exist online. The home video release is difficult to find as it has been out of print for years.

On November 26, 2018, a website called The Apollo Dub Archive uploaded all 104 episodes on MEGA & Nyaa, sourced from all 8 VCD box sets.
