"Origin Of Symmetry" is a 2001 album released by the band Muse. It is the second album released in their discography. There are multiple missing tracks on it.

Background

In an interview conducted 15th February 2001, the Muse fansite microcuts state the following:

"So far, tracks in the can include Bliss, Hypermusic, Origin of Symmetry, Love Bleach, Shrinking Universe and Razor Song plus, of course, their forthcoming single, Plug In Baby, which hits the shops on March 5th through Mushroom."[1]

The tracks Bliss, Hyper Music, and Plug-In Baby were all released on the album, while Shrinking Universe was released as a B-side. Three tracks mentioned here, however, have possibly never seen the light of day - Origin Of Symmetry, Love Bleach, and Razor Song.

Renamed Tracks

It is common practice to use working names, so this may be the fate of these tracks. Razor Song was presumably renamed to Screenager (as one of the working titles for that, seen on a live setlist, was "Razor Blade".[2]) Obviously, these tracks couldn't be Bliss, Hyper Music, Plug-In Baby, Shrinking Universe, or Screenager.
