Status: Partially Found

Pink Crows was a both real and cartoon band produced as a side project of the artist NOBODY. They released three different single albums in 1985, and later ended that same year. Translated directly from the Wikipedia article in Japanese, "Pink Crows (Pink Crows) is a quadruped band of quirky projects using anime characters that appeared in 1985. It is thought that it is one type of mask band. The appearance is a pink color crow as its name, with the setting of a pop group of aliens who came to the earth from far away stars called pop gear. The 3rd single song "Suddenly Want You!" Was also adopted as the theme song of the TV animation "Showa Ao Kousaku Akira Akira Ichiban!", But then the new song was not announced and the activity period was about 1 year and short-lived finished. Japan Sunrise Co., Ltd., animation production, songs were handled by the Japanese rock band "NOBODY". Monthly New Types From the first issue to the 3 rd issue, Tadahiro Takaya's two-page spread manga titled "From love with stars" was serialized and their planet visits, auditions and debuts were drawn."

The Music Video

According to the Japanese Wikipedia article for the band, animation company Sunrise was involved in the animation production, and an article about them in My Anime magazine's April 1985 issue shows many images that are believed to be taken from a promotional video of the band.

Currently, information on the Pink Crows video as a whole seems to be unavailable online without knowing/being able to translate from Japanese, thus leaving most info about the show a mystery. After asking both subreddits r/anime and r/translator, we have a loose translation of the magazine article.

"The magazine says it's a promotional video for the Pink Crows. It says something about their debut concert. Also, apparently they're aliens, which I guess explains the whole talking bird thing they've got going on ("An alien band's invasion!? The Pink Crows' shocking debut!")."

Meaning that this video does (or did) in fact exist, but what station it aired on, what day, and a large sum of information is still missing.

The Music

The records are still available on Japanese bidding sites, even one being available on YouTube. Unfortunately only this their last track, and the only reason it may be on youtube is that it was recorded to be the theme for television-only anime "Showa Ao Kousaku Akira Akira Ichiban!". Scans of all four of their record releases are available online, being scanned by Twitter user Ravenworks. As for the video itself, that still remains a mystery.
