Pump It Up is a dance rhythm game created in 1999 by Korean arcade manufacturer Andamiro. The game uses the similar game style that their Japanese counterpart DanceDanceRevolution, but with some differences, such as a five arrow panel instead of a four arrow panel.

Since the original game release in August, 1999, the franchise saw more than 20 game releases in the span of twenty years, including arcade releases, home versions, and a mobile game.

Background

"Pump It Up 2010: FIESTA" was released in March 8th, 2010, as the 21st arcade release of the game, and also, as the 10th anniversary edition. This version introduced more than 20 new songs, new in-game features, new game modalities, and a whole new interface, replacing the old interface and game models that had been used since the original release.

This arcade release only lasted for 10 months, since it was replaced by a newer game; "Pump It Up 2011: FIESTA EX", which was released in January 22nd, 2011.

2010 World Cup Promotional Event

In June of that year, in anticipation to the South Africa's 2010 FIFA World Cup, Andamiro released a 2 day promotional DLC for the game, including two versions of the song "Let's Go Again, Korea", the 1st one performed by PSY and Kim Jang Hoon, and the 2nd one performed by Brown Eyed Girls and 4Minute.

This promotional event only lasted for 2 days, and it was exclusive to 2 arcades in South Korea, meaning that no other country or arcade center could get the promotional update patch

To promote this event, Andamiro published 2 videos on their official YouTube channel showing both songs, but only showing one level for each one, the D15 (Double Lvl, 15) for the PSY & Kim Jang Hoon's version, and the S3 (Single Lvl. 3) for the Brown Eyed Girls & 4Minute's version.

Availability

No footage or recordings of anyone playing these songs during those 2 days can be found online, the only known footage are those 2 videos uploaded by Andamiro, and some videos uploaded by other users playing this songs on Stepmania, a PC simulator for dance games. Besides that, there only 2 charts showed for both songs, but in the menu it can be seen that there's more levels for both songs, that are nowhere to be found

PSY & Kim Jang Hoon's Ver. : Single Lvl. 2 - Single Lvl. 4

Brown Eyed Girls & 4Minute's Ver. : Single Lvl. 1

Besides the lack of footage and information about this event, the update patch that contains both songs it's not avaliable online, mostly because it was released exclusively by the company for 2 arcades in South Korea, and for a short period of time

But, as mentioned, the songs where replicated by users to be played in the Stepmania simulator, and it can be found online, as shown by a video of the user Turkeyslam (known as "Funbox" in the Pump It Up community), playing both levels of each songs at his private Pump It Up machine.
