Puzzle Trail is a British children's game show produced by Clive Doig, based on the 1981 book series by Jeremy Beadle. [1] It was a write-in competition, with skits and sketches giving small clues of the exact location of the main object in that series, with the winner being the first person who sends in the right answer.

It aired on BBC1 from September 15th, 1980 to September 21st, 1984 with a total of 45 episodes. Instead of seasons, the show was split into 5 series, with different hosts and co-host per series.

Very little is known of the series, except for series 5, which is known for having Davy Jones from the Monkees as the host. A few articles on websites talk about the show and its premise such as ukgameshow.com. There has been no home media release or any episodes from any of the series so far, only a clip and the opening of the 5th and final series of puzzle trail has surfaced.
