On March 22, 2011, "Space Race" launched as a web series on PBS Kids. It featured 8 characters/webisodes interviewed by Gary Galaxy (played by Meyer DeLeeuw), a 3D Galaxy Adventure game, printables, and the “What Spaceship are You?widget. As of today, the webisodes (except the trailer and the first webisode) are considered to be lost media. The series relaunched as a TV show on May 2, 2014 under the new name "Space Racers", which currently airs on PBS Kids and Universal Kids in the U.S., and TVOKids in Canada. (The show was distributed by both PBS Kids and American Public Television in 2014)

Space Race was a web series that launched on March 22nd, 2011 on the Space Race website and on Speakaboos' website.[1] The show featured 8 episodes, each featuring a character interviewed by Gary Galaxy (played by Meyer DeLeeuw). It also had a 3D Galaxy Adventure game, the Space Race Trivia quiz, the What Spaceship are You? widget, printables, and e-cards online.[2] The series relaunched as a TV show on May 2nd, 2014, under the new name Space Racers, which currently airs on select PBS stations and Universal Kids in the U.S., and TVO Kids in Canada (Space Racers was distributed by American Public Television in 2014).
