Special Friends: Ring Along Sing Along is a lost VHS tape from 1991.[1] It is the third VHS in the "Special Friends" series, which have become highly popular on Youtube due to various edits made to the videos. The first two tapes, "Special Friends Starring 'You On Kazoo'", made in 1989, and "Special Friends: Let's Sing Along!", made in 1990, have already been uploaded to Youtube in full.

The third tape was brought into question during a Reddit AMA with the main star of the three videos, Brett Ambler, who responded to a question asking if there was a second video after "You On Kazoo", to which he responded with, "There are actually three videos out there... The last one was called Ring Along Sing Along and came with jingle bells. I don't remember much of that one. But it's out there somewhere."[2]

Soon after, a user by the name of 143books on the same thread found a listing of the tape at the Chicago Public Library. Another user by the name of Kirioko placed that tape on hold and also found listings for the same tape in Dodge City, KS, Hugoton, KS, Mandan, ND, and Jacksonville, FL. However, he later responded saying that he got a message from the Chicago Public Library saying "Your request for the following item has been canceled because: All copies charged/traced/lost."

No clips or screenshots from the video have been found, nor any pictures of the box or the tape itself. It is likely that someone, possibly one of the cast members from the video, has a copy, catches on to the growing popularity of edits on the other two videos, and decides to upload it in full to Youtube.
