Super Mario Bros. for the Commodore 64 is a rumored port of the classic game for the NES/Famicom to the Commodore 64. In 1985, Super Mario Bros. was released in North America and Japan and took the consumer market by storm. A company by the name of Orpheus was rumored to have been working on the port of Super Mario Bros. for the Commodore 64 in 1986 but was possibly dined a license by Nintendo.

Little is known about the port, and it's likely that the game did not make it past the drawing board. The only reference to the Super Mario Bros. port is from an article from the website GamesThatWerent.com[1]
