Swedish Blueballs is a 10 minute long comedy short film filmed in Sweden, that was written and directed by Joe Swanberg and Kent Osborne while working under Spout production company. The duo are better know better known for various feature length films such as Hannah Takes the Stairs and Uncle Kent.

Despite who wrote and directed this film, information on this film is hard to come by. As a result of this, over time the film has fallen into obscurity. As a result of this, not much information can be found about it.

Due to the obscure nature and unavailability of the short film, mostly assumptions have to be made about the film and its contents. The only summary of the film we have comes from the very vague IMDb page for the film. Which is as follows:

"An obnoxious American tourist gets more than he bargained for when he meets a Swedish girl on the street in Stockholm"

Along with only being provided with an oddly vague plot, we are also provided with a short list of actors and their roles including:

•American Tourist: Kent Osborne

•Angry Swedish girlfriend/Anna: Joanna Benecke

•Swedish Sexpot: Julia Sandburg

The few sources available have said and implied it was supposedly finished and released on March 7th 2008. It was believed to have been released in both Swedish and English and to have been shown at some film festivals. Despite this, to this day the film has had no releases on any home video format and isn't available in any form.
