Doraemon is a very successful Japanese anime that has aired in three different series since 1973. However, there is a little-known English dub of the 1979 anime that aired in Barbados in the 1980's or 1990's, titled Albert and Sydney. Not much information is available about Albert and Sydney, except for airing on Saturday mornings on CBC TV 8 in Barbados.

The first person to report this dub was a Barbadian user on The TFP[1], who remembered part of the theme song. According to that user, the dub may have been produced in the United Kingdom. Various other users on other websites have also confirmed that they remember watching Albert and Sydney.

Partial theme lyrics

Look a propeller, on top of your hat!

Albert and Sydney, a boy and his cat.

Albert has magic, Sydney has fun.

Look at them soaring,

they'll go exploring,

and you'll be seeing

Albert and Sydney, again!
