The Dinky-Di's was an animated Australian series that also aired dubbed in Poland and Italy. It was created by Mel Bradford, owned by Roo Films pty and animated by Chinese company Pacific Rim Productions, Inc.

History

The Dinky-Di's premiered in 1991 in Australia, on August 21st, 1995 in Italy, and January 10th, 1998 in Poland and has since faded to obscurity.[1]

Plot

The show followed a group of andromorphic animals saving rare and endangered animals, plants and educating the audience on the importance of saving the planet.

The show follows the group which consistences of Sidney the seal, Ernest the eagle, Plato the Platypus, Cass the Koala, their leader Aussie Roo the Kangaroo and a Crocodile, Bear, Emu, and Frill-neck lizard whose English names cannot be confirmed. The group of rescuers are fighting against Mephisto, an eco-terrorist who is a cat light creature, always engulfed in shadow.[2]

Out of the 26 episodes only 2 have resurfaced; "Baron of Babel" and the first half of the first episode, "Lost, One Dinky Di" but luckily a full version of the Polish dub has also being found. It is unknown where "Baron of Babel" fall in the watching order.
