Status: Partially Lost

The First Snow of Winter is an animated television film produced by Hibbert Ralph Entertainment and Link Entertainment that was first aired on the BBC on 25 December 1998.

In 1999, like Tweenies and School of Roars, there's an American dub for broadcast on the Disney Channel, and on home video in the US.

US Voice Cast

  • Voley - Tim Curry
  • Mother Duck - Carol Kane
  • Sean McDuck - Ashley Johnson
  • Father Duck - Neil McCaul
  • Puffy - Kate Sachs

Availability

Only the original UK version (with Miriam Margolyes as Sean McDuck and Tim Curry as Voley) is widely available in circulation. However, the American dub is nowhere to be seen as its only availability is if you own the film on VHS or DVD from Columbia TriStar Home Video. There are also no clips of the dub available, apart from the trailer which can be seen on YouTube.
