The Golem and the Dancing Girl was a silent German film from 1917 that parodied the 1915 horror film The Golem.[1] Paul Wegener directed, wrote, and starred in this film as well as the original. In the film, Wegener plays himself and decides to dress up as The Golem as a practical joke, which leads to humorous complications.

The film is completely lost and hasn't been seen for many years. All that has been found is the cast list, a poster, and a still photograph.
