The Magic Roundabout is a France-UK CGI reboot of the same name created by Serge Danot. The series takes place after the events of the 2005 CGI-animated film of the same name. The series begins with Zebedee giving a brief summary to the viewers before setting off the plot. And at the end, with the problems solved, Zebedee announces that "it's time to party!". Everyone dances before Dylan remarks that "it was time for bed" before falling asleep.
In 2009, The Magic Roundabout (CGI Series) was given a Season 2 renewal (consisting of 52 10-minute episodes) and production started on this season later with ZDF as an additional partner. It was broadcast on Nick Jr. in the UK in 2010 and on ABC in Australia the following year. It was also broadcast on the Children's Channel of China Central Television in China in 2017, tve in Spain and briefly available on Netflix in the USA. Since Action Synthese was folded in 2013, Mediatoon currently held the rights to the show[1].
Availabilty
Out of the second season's 52 episodes, only 51 episodes were uploaded on YouTube by The Magic Roundabout Official YouTube channel. On June 10, 2015, The Official Magic Roundabout YouTube channel was created and they uploaded episodes 53 - 62 three months later. This goes on and on when they were uploading from Episode 63 the following week to episode 102 two years later with the next episode uploaded on August 14, 2018. Although there are currently 51 Season 2 episodes uploaded on YouTube by The Official Magic Roundabout YouTube channel and currently not on home media yet, the final episode of The Magic Roundabout Season 2 episode "No More Magic, Zebedee" has yet to receive a YouTube upload and even from home media.
