In 2009, The Magic Roundabout was given a Season 2 renewal (consisting of 52 10-minute episodes) and production started on the season later with ZDF as an additional partner. It was broadcast on Nick Jr. in the UK in 2010 and on ABC in Australia the following year. It was also broadcast on CCTV-14 (China Central Television) in China in 2017, tve in Spain and briefly available on Netflix in the USA.
