The Reluctant Dragon and Mr. Toad Show was an American animated series produced by Rankin-Bass, based on the stories The Wind in the Willows and The Reluctant Dragon by Kenneth Grahame. The series aired on ABC from September 12th, 1970 to January 2nd, 1971, lasting 16 episodes.

Each episode had two Reluctant Dragon segments and one Mr. Toad segment.[1]

Plot Summary

The Reluctant Dragon segments are about a friendly dragon named Tobias, who is allergic to daisies and breathes fire whenever he's near any.[2]

The Mr. Toad segments are about Mr. Toad, a race car driving toad who causes trouble for his friends.[1]
