Stickin' Around is an animated series created by Robin Steele and Brianne Leary and produced by Nelvana first starting as a series of 1-minute shorts in 1994 and later as a full series expanding the shorts in 1996-1998. It follows best friends Stacy and Bradley and their crazy adventures with their friends, family and the fantasies they create. While many people know about the shorts that came before the series, many people don't know about a 20-second demo that was done to pitch the show to CBS under the original title of The Sticklers.

Description

As described by Leary on an episode of the Mr. TV podcast on the show, the pitch has a completely different background style, which is just pictures of real furniture from old 50's catalogs. It was also done using cels instead of computers like in the final series. The pitch has Stan, Stella, Stacy and Frank (in their first appearances) coming together and plopping into the couch with a bowl of popcorn. The Sticklers, the show's original name, appears.

Status

The pitch was shown to CBS executives, and thus remained completely unseen to the public, as Brianne Leary doesn't have access to the pitch demo, and can be heard via a detailed mention from Brianne in the Mr. TV podcast, from its production to its pitch.
