The Street of Sin is a 1928 silent, drama-crime film directed by Mauritz Stiller, written by Benjamin Glazer, and stars Emil Jannings, Olga Blanconova and Fay Wray (who would appear in the famous 1933 film King Kong).

According to IMDb, a unsolicited author Ulf Kjell Gur, stated about the plot of the film as:

"The story is set in the seamy Soho section of London, where burglar Basher Bill shares bed and board with his sluttish girlfriend Annie. As wicked as they come, Bill softens when he meets virtuous Salvation Army lass Elizabeth."

A couple of production stills of the film do exist also on IMDb.

When filming for the movie began the distributor for the film, The Street of Sin, was offered in its rights to Paramount Pictures, and with the films completion, it was released in May 26th, 1928.

However, the film according to various articles, including the BFI, stated that The Street of Sin is now a lost film,[1][2] that it is unknown why the film disappeared, and so far there have been no recoveries.
