The Substitute is a TV movie that was produced for the USA network in 1993. It should not be confused with the 1996 film starring Tom Berenger.

The Substitute is the film debut of Mark Wahlberg, who at the time was still known as pop-rapper "Marky Mark".

This TV movie has never been released on home video in the United States, though it was apparently released on VHS in Argentina (as La sustituta), Germany and Japan.
