Status: Lost

This Means War was a planned unreleased action combat game being developed by BigBig Studios, known for creating the Pursuit Force series, Motorstorm Arctic Edge, and Little Deviants. Not much is known about the game, as it was never announced to the public. The only known traces of This Means War are several pieces of art from several portfolios of previous BigBig employees,[1] with the earliest known date of This Means War's development is 2009,[2] being planned for both the PlayStation 3 and the "PSPVITA" according to the game's character artist. This Means War went through a lot of different art styles[3] before landing on it's last art style "inspired by collectible vinyl figures" as pointed out by a former artist.[4] Characters from other Sony properties such as Nathan Drake from NaughtyDog's Uncharted series[5] were also meant to appear, as well. The reason for the game's cancellation is unknown, as it has never been announced or mentioned by Sony or BigBig Studios in any official manner, with no trailers or any information in-depth about the game.
