Three 6 Mafia are a memphis based Hip Hop group known for songs such as "Stay Fly" and the Academy Award winning "It's Hard Out Here For A Pimp".

On August 4th, 2009, a Billboard.com article was published announcing the release of their upcoming album "Laws of Power". The album was scheduled to be released on November 10 of the same year, with the mastering set for August 17th. [1]

Then, on January 12th, 2010 another Billboard.com article stated that the album would be released on March 30 of the same year, with the songs "Feel It", "Shake My" and "Lil Freak (Ugh Ugh Ugh)" being released as singles for the album (These are the only confirmed album tracks). The article also lists several guest musicians that would be featured on the album [2]

Next, A video of Juicy J and DJ Paul (The only remaining members of the group at the time) was posted to Vimeo on October 3, 2010 by DJ Smallz. In the video the 2 state that the album would be released sometime in early 2011. [3]

An article was posted to TheBoombox.com on March 8, 2011 with Juicy J stating that the album would "hopefully be released in the summer". After this there are no other interviews or online articles that mention the album. [4]

There exists a Youtube playlist containing songs supposedly meant for the Laws Of Power album. The songs appear to be official Three 6 Mafia tracks, but there's no way to tell if they were meant to be on the final album or not. [5]

Outside of the 3 singles, there are no confirmed album tracks. A tracklist for the album exists on 2kmusic.com, but the majority of the listed songs are impossible to find making the tracklist likely to be fake. [[6]]

It's not too surprising that the album has not been released as of now. The majority of the group had split up at this point, and the last Three 6 Mafia album, Last 2 Walk, was a critical and commercial failure.
