Totally Spies! is an animated action comedy TV series co-developed by Vincent Chalvon-Demersay and France's Marathon Media Group and premiered in the US on ABC Family in 2001 and on Cartoon Network 2 years later. The series revolves around 3 teenaged girls Clover, Sam and Alex who live double lives as both students attending a high school and spies working for an organization to fight crime around the globe.
Pitch Trailer
In 1999 a prototype trailer was developed to pitch the series to TV executives. For years the only footage of the pilot came from a Fox Kids promo which shows a different animation style compared to the final show's anime like style along with Alex's having a lighter skin color similar to the other girls.
No other information on the trailer was available until April 15, 2021 when Twitter user Archive of Alex messaged series director Stephane Berry, who said he developed it himself while traveling between Paris, Los Angeles and Seoul and stated that it was a trailer instead of a pilot episode with a run time of 1:30.[1] He also said that he doesn't remember where it is along with the other production material related to the pitch trailer.
