To promote the release of Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade, the first manga adaptation, Champion's Sword, began serialization in late 2001, three months before the game was released, and ran until sometime in 2005. During the first manga's run, A second manga adaptation was released on December 7, 2002 in Japan, with only a single volume being released. Though this manga is still being sold on multiple websites despite being long out of print, not many scans have been released online, and little information is known about it.
