VeggieTales is a popular 3D animated Christian children's series made by BigIdea that started in 1993, and has sold over 10 million videos. Due to the popularity of the series, BigIdea made many promotions to promote upcoming episodes/events, one of these promotions being radio interviews. CDs were sent to certain radio stations, which contained pre-recorded responses for the interviews, songs from the episode they were promoting, sound bites from said episode, and radio spots made to promote the episode.

Due to information being incredibly limited, only 13 of these radio discs are known to exist, the latest being the Lord of the Beans Radio Disc. Four of these discs have made their way online, however.

On December 15th, 2018, LMW user Teddykledbold uploaded the entirety of the Christmas 1999 Radio Disc to MEGA. On December 16, 2018, YouTuber 9babyeinstein uploaded the Lyle the Kindly Viking Radio Disc to Google Drive.

On July 3rd, 2019, ProfessorSlendercat uploaded the entire "Big Idea's Fall 2002 Radio Fun" disc to archive.org. 3 days later on July 6th, former BigIdea artist John Trauscht confirmed that he has multiple VeggieTales radio discs, but doesn't plan on sharing them due to copyright troubles.[1]

On January 9th, 2020, a user on Archive.org found a part of the old website for Word Distribution, who used to distribute VeggieTales, which included some parts of other radio discs for the show. This included soundbites for 'An Easter Carol' and the radio spot for 'A Snoodle's Tale'. The website also had the full radio disc for 'Lord of the Beans', but only the character interview segments can be downloaded.[2]
