Zootopia (also known as Zootropolis in some countries) is a 2016 animated film produced by Walt Disney Studios. The film received critical acclaim for its subject matter and well-written characters, but according to directors Byron Howard and Rich Moore, the film underwent a significant rewrite during production. Footage from the pre-rewrite version is crudely animated, and most scenes never made it past the storyboard stage. A full script of this version has not yet been released.
