Backyard Safari was a PBS educational series that aired for 13 episodes in 1997. Produced by the company, Lancit Media. This series about Cecilia Arana, Stephen Singer, and an animated character named Crinkleroot (voiced by the late Rex Everhart), teaches children to learn about both science and nature.
KET also aired this series until 2011. In the mid-2010's, KET's website still had Backyard Safari and all the 13 full-episodes of this series were available to watch until after 2021, when KET's website removed this series.
