AM Driver (lost English dub of anime series; 2007)
AM Driver, known in Japan as Get Ride! AM Driver, is a television anime series produced by Nihon Ad Systems and Studio Deen. Running for 51 episodes, the show originally aired on TV Tokyo between April 5, 2004 to March 28, 2005.
On August 15, 2006, Illumitoon Entertainment, a Forth Worth, Texas-based company founded by former Funimation executives, acquired the North American rights to the series.[1] The first volume of a planned DVD release was intended for February 6th of the following year.[2] However, it was pushed back and ultimately never saw publication.[3] Illumitoon is no longer in business.
An English dub for at least the first 14 episodes were produced.[4] It began airing on ADV's The Anime Network in the United States on September 9, 2007.[5] Like Illumitoon's other productions, it was recorded locally, with Todd Haberkorn starring as the lead Jenath Dira. The dub hasn't been seen since its run on The Anime Network, with no official home video releases or fan recordings.
