Before Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team was released in South Korea, the Korean Pokémon Mystery Dungeon site offered a downloadable PC demo version of the game called Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gold Rescue Team -Challenge the Gold Rank!- (Korean: 포켓몬 불가사의 던전 황금 구조대 -너도 골드랭크에 도전하자!-).

It is based on Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team, a Nintendo DS game, but is played in a single window with a native resolution of 240x160, much like Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team, which is for the Game Boy Advance. However, the window is doubled in size to 480x320. It has a build date of PKDi ver 1.0 [Jun 25 2007] 22:53:37, more than one month after the Korean version of Blue Rescue Team's build date of PKDi ver 1.0 [May 17 2007] 19:16:08.

The game has been unavailable since the Korean Pokémon Mystery Dungeon site was taken offline and doesn't seem to have been shared by anyone since.

Availability

A few gameplay screenshots of the demo can be found online, in some Korean blogs. However no gameplay of the demo has been released online at all, and there is no archive or download link to the demo.
