Status Existence Unconfirmed

"Luck Be an Ed Tonight" and "A Room with an Ed" are two half-episodes of the fifth season of Ed, Edd n Eddy that were never released to the public and possibly never even made. The only evidence of the episodes' existence were in a season 5 "sneak peak" list posted on the Edtropolis news page in 2005 and 2006.

According to the post, "Luck Be an Ed Tonight" was about Ed discovering that, according to his horoscope, it was his "luckiest day ever", resulting in Eddy using it for personal gain.[1] "A Room with an Ed" was about Sarah and Jimmy kicking Ed out of his room so that they could turn it into a personal playroom of theirs.[2]

It is unknown how far these episodes were put into production, or if they even existed to begin with, as some claim Edtropolis has given false/incorrect information regarding the show in the past.

I may have read this on Edtropolis at the time.

I believe these episodes MIGHT be fake. From what I remember, Edtropolis used to be full of questionable reporting. Not only that, but I think these were circulating during a time whether there would be a new Ed Edd n Eddy season or movie.

Regardless, this one seems like a lost cause sadly.

I hear there's another unmade episode where the Eds start a religion for some quick cash. Of course, considering the source of this rumor (tvtropes.com), take this with a grain of salt.

You know, with Danny Antonucci's sense of humor, it might have been conceptualized at one point, but not actually made into an episode.

The Edtropolis page lists it as "A Room With an Ed", not "A Room and an Ed". You know, like the classic expression "A room with a view"?

Could it be the similar title with "The Luck of the Ed"?

As for "A Room with an Ed", the most likely explanation is that it was proposed, but never so much as written. Edtropolis probably got the info while Season 5 was still in the development stage, given the date of the original post.

It's like 100% confirmed that "A Room With an Ed" ws never made? I just really cleary remember an episode with the exact same sinopsis. Maybe they did another similar one later?

It was in Spanish and it looked completely normal. I remember Sarah wanted to watch a movie, and then do "girl's stuff" with Jimmy, like painting each others nails and play with ponies. Ed was furious that they were destroying his messy room!

Idk, maybe it was a similar plot with other characters, and I just remember the wrong ones?

Hmmm...it doesn't exactly ring a bell for me, but the plot it's similar and the tricks the Eds use to try to enter the house are really familiar! And it have the movie thing too (even if I thought of the wrong characters there!). I remember more screen time for Sarah and Jimmy, but I guess that's just bits of other episodes. Yeah, that's probably the episode.

Anyway, thank you! This should be in the trivia for other confused people.
