Hammerman is a short-lived American-Canadian Saturday morning cartoon, produced by DIC Entertainment and starring pop rapper MC Hammer as a youth center worker named Stanley Burrell (Hammer's real name) who owns a pair of magical dancing shoes (which are alive and can speak), which, when worn, cause him to transform into the superhero, Hammerman. The cartoon was aired from September 7 to December 7, 1991 on ABC for a total of 13 episodes.

Availability

Only three full episodes have been released on home video (all of which have also been uploaded online) and, apart from another upload with Polish over-dubbing, no other footage is available.

That's because he didn't necesssarily need ALL the content. Each episode was basically the same schtick, and the show was that bad, he basically had enough to rip on to make a nearly 20 minute review.

There was one episode where some old musician whose music could destroy people showed back up alive somehow and Gramps and Hammerman had to swap the shoes back and forth to stop him. I wish I could find that episode somewhere. Or even the title.

I used to watch this show in Teledoce, here in Uruguay, dubbed in latin spanish. They brodcast this show for long time, so I pressume that they got the 13 chapters.

Pokémon. In a list of greatest Saturday morning cartoons, some dumbass put hammerman, a piece of shit cartoon that had 13 episodes too many and 4 episodes too many found, over Pokémon, one of the actual greatest Saturday morning cartoons. Let that sink in for a moment.
