Tooned In! is a lost game show pilot that was taped at Nickelodeon Studios in Orlando, Florida in 1998. the pilot was shown to executives alongside pilots for Me and My Friends, Who Know? and Dora the explorer, at the end of it all, the pilot of Dora the explorer was successful when the other pilots were rejected .[1]
Availability
The only known footage of Tooned In! online is in a 5-minute compilation video created by former crew members of Nickelodeon Studios for its 10 year anniversary in 2000.
Only around 5 seconds of video have surfaced, without the original audio. There is very little information about this pilot available, and whether or not Nickelodeon still has it in their possession remains unconfirmed. According to Justia's Trademarks database, Nickelodeon filed in the Nickelodeon's Tooned In trademark in July 1998 and it was abandoned in May 2001 due to no statement of use.
