Status: Partially Found

Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide was a sitcom on Nickelodeon that made its TV debut on September 12, 2004.

The series' original pilot episode aired on September 7th, 2003. This pilot episode had a character named "Boogie" in replace of "Cookie". They were played by Stephen Markarian then later re-casted as Albert Wormenheimer in the show. They decided to re-cast the character now as "Cookie" and was given to Daniel Curtis Lee, resulting in an unaired episode titled Ned's Locker. After said episodes were created, production was stopped one year later. The pilot was a success, so the series was picked up for a 13-episode season.

The original pilot has aired a few times since its original broadcast[1][2], and Ned's Locker remains totally unaired. Additionally, when asked on Reddit about it, Devon Werkheiser said he didn't have a copy.[3]

The plots of the pilots are unknown, but both presumably were remade into the two segments of the first episode, "First Day & Lockers".

It’s rumored that the aired pilot was included in the Australian DVD release of Season 1 as a bonus feature[4]. However, when Lost Media Wiki user Racelympics got his hands on a copy, the aired pilot wasn’t included, despite the mention on the DVD cover.

On December 30th, 2020, YouTube user Old Nick Jr Fan uploaded a commercial break Nickelodeon aired from late December 2003. In the video, a few brief snippets of the pilot was shown.

On April, 2023 people on twitter pointed out that stills from the lost episode "Ned's Locker" can be seen on the series finale "Guide to: Field Trips, Permission Slips, Signs, and Weasels" during the Ned & Moze montage of romantic moments.
