He did an interview on Late Night with Seth Meyers back in November where he talks about this a little. He does mention that he doesn't actually remember if he asked Rodale if they were boring him or not. He also mentioned that his other guest Pete Hamill also made a comment about "this doesn't sound good" referring to the snoring.
