X-DuckX (Canards extremes in French) is a 2001 sports-comedy French animated series created by Jan Van Rijsselberge and was co-produced by Alphanim (Gaumont Animation now), Europool, Tooncan, Soficanim, Telepool, Young Distribution, and Point Animation that broadcast on France 3, Fox Kids/Jetix in France, and Super RTL in Germany. The show consists of 78 episodes with a runtime of seven-minute episodes.
Premise
The show is about two ducks Slax and Geextah who are into extreme sports and love to participate in them regardless of how risky it can be. They have their only human friend, Arielle who are the complete opposite of them, only likes safe sports and takes a liking to fashion. The ducks often have to compete with their worst enemy J.T. Thrash who often plots revenge on them because he always gets into second place.
Availability
Episodes of this show are skimp to find online in English as it's unknown if the show ever aired in any English-speaking region despite an English dub being produced.
The show also had home media releases in Germany and Russia. The German DVD has episodes from 1-39, while Russian has the complete series. The German dub episodes on YouTube were from the German DVD or DVR television recordings from when the show use to air on Super RTL.
In 2019, YouTube user Cathode Crypt uploaded three episodes of the show's English dub from VHS recordings. Unfortunately, he hasn’t uploaded any more episodes since then. And user cheers369 uploaded three episode segments in a full video making it a whole 21 minutes.
The official Gaumont YouTube account recently uploaded a two-minute clip of the show a month after this article was created.
