Le Piaf (partially found animated short series; 1987)

Created in 1983 by Dan Salel, Le Piaf was a French canary character who always wear sneakers appearing in a series of postcards and will later appear in all sorts of products like backpacks and cups [1]. In 1987, a series of animated cartoon shorts were produced by Walt Disney Animation France (Brizzi Films at the time the shorts were produced) and CDC Films, each running about a minute and a half [2]. They mostly consists of the very surreal and bizarre misadventures of the titular canary. About 200 cartoons were produced, some of which are viewable on the internet.

Status
Out of the 200 shorts produced of this series, 53 is viewable on the internet in varying quality. Some high quality, some low quality, some partial and for the case of the ones uploaded on the official Le Piaf YouTube channel, have their original audio missing. It's currently unknown if more shorts will be found from this series.
