Anne of Green Gables was a made-for-television British mini-series directed by Joan Craft and based off the novel of the same name by Lucy Maud Montgomery. Its run consisted of five 45-minute long episodes.

Unfortunately, the series is believed to have been lost due to the BBC's purge of serials that they deemed had little commercial value in the 1970s. There are rumours, however, that the miniseries was released on Betamax. Additionally, with the findings of once-long-lost media such as the early episodes of Dr Who, there may be some copies of the miniseries left somewhere.

Little other information is available, as no footage or other images of the miniseries can be found.
