In 2006, Deal or No Deal was picked up for syndication. Howie Mandel refused to host it at first, so they ended picking Arsenio Hall as the host. They shot six episodes with him, but it was ultimately passed off. In 2007, Mandel finally agreed to host the syndicated version, which started airing in 2008. The Arsenio Hall episodes have not surfaced online in any form and all that's known about the show's original format is that it had a $250,000 grand prize.
